Founded in 1969, Royal Oaks golf course continues to receive acclaim as one of the classic traditional layouts in the Southwest. The course was redone in 2001 by DA Wiebring and, most recently, in 2023 by Chet Williams. Currently hosting Tahoma 31 Fairways/Teeboxes and TifEagle Greens, Royal Oaks golf course is a true challenge for all handicaps. Even with all of the changes and improvements, the club has remained true to the original 1969 layout and designs of J. Press Maxwell, Don January and Billy Martindale. Royal Oaks is the 20+ year home to two time Masters Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist, Scottie Scheffler. Royal Oaks Country Club is a private, member-owned Club. In keeping with tradition, membership is by invitation only and subject to the normal membership process in accordance with our Club's bylaws.
